Zhengzhou Hadof Launches Advanced Potato Chip Frying Line to Boost Snack Food Production

March 23, 2025 – Zhengzhou, Henan Province — Zhengzhou Hadof Food Machinery Co., Ltd. has officially launched a new, fully automated potato chip frying production line, aimed at modernizing snack food manufacturing and meeting the growing market demand for high-efficiency, hygienic, and energy-saving processing solutions.

Designed for medium to large-scale production, the line integrates all essential stages of potato chip processing, including washing, peeling, slicing, blanching, frying, de-oiling, seasoning, and cooling. The new system features a continuous frying module with intelligent oil temperature control, real-time filtration, and oil circulation. These technologies ensure that the frying oil stays clean and thermally stable, which extends oil life and enhances the final product’s flavor, color, and texture. At the same time, energy consumption and oil usage are reduced—key concerns for modern snack producers.

To further support efficient operations, the system is equipped with a centralized PLC control panel that allows real-time monitoring of key production parameters, including belt speed, oil temperature, and moisture levels. Operators can easily switch between recipes and make adjustments on the fly, making the line highly adaptable to different product types and production demands.

Constructed from food-grade stainless steel, the entire line is designed for durability, hygiene, and easy maintenance. The modular structure also allows for quick cleaning and component replacement, reducing downtime and increasing production flexibility.

Initial installations across Henan Province have received positive feedback from potato chip manufacturers. The system has helped reduce labor intensity, improve yield, and enhance product uniformity—all while supporting stricter food safety and quality control standards.

With global demand for processed snack foods continuing to grow, Zhengzhou Hadof plans to promote the new frying line to overseas markets, including Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and South America. Future upgrades are already in development, including options for vacuum frying, nitrogen flushing, and integrated packaging systems.
